Minion of Eternity focuses until L80. I know this, because at L76 and 77, I am getting improved pet base hits, when I wield The Sweeper.

It is, by far, the easiest focus to obtain that works to 80, unless your toon is part of a guild that routinely has older content raid drops of the better foci through about EM 3.

You've tested this with and without the focus on?

Minion of Eternity is supposed to work on pets summoned by spells that are level 59 to 75. You may be level 76 or 77, but the question is what is the spell level you are summoning the pet with. So is the pet you are using the 74 earth pet and 75 gargoyle (which should be focused by Minion of Eternity) or are using the 76 Air or 77 Water (which shouldn't be focused by Minion of Eternity).

I apologize. This was just me being stupid. I absent-mindedly picked up the Minion of Chaos earring from DSH at level 76, and was so used to using my broom, that I thought the broom was focusing the 76 pet -- completely forgetting that I had a new, better focus earring. MoE does, indeed, only function to 75.
