beta nda has been lifted
beta nda has been lifted
we are getting some stuffz --- remote servant -- salvo nerfed --- new conjuration bolt ---
Re: beta nda has been lifted
focuses and gear has a very marginal boost...totally unimpressed
Re: beta nda has been lifted
I assume they have EM 20 for raid and 15 for group?? Does the EM 20 raise the pet to level 100 finally??
Re: beta nda has been lifted
I am extremely underwhelmed by this first part of the expansion. New spells offer little if any gains. Just a continuation of old AA lines, except for modrod specialist (gives more mana but takes more hitpoints away). Earning merc AAs takes a long time, and may even make it worse than it is now to find a group, as people will be actively working their mercs AAs now. Merc armor offers pitifully small increases to the mercs.
New zones might be mildly interesting, and heroic missions show some promise.
Somebody somewhere commented, that is seems like SoE is trying to see how small an effort they can put out and still get us to pay for a full expansion. I must say, I agree with that sentiment.

It would seem to me the major point of this expansion are the heroic adventures. I am sure that is where the majority of their efforts went to, and it seems to be a lead in for EQ Next content. It actually feels like we will be the testers for the system.

EM 20 and 15 are available in this expansion. I don't know the pet level.micker wrote:I assume they have EM 20 for raid and 15 for group?? Does the EM 20 raise the pet to level 100 finally??

Re: beta nda has been lifted
is it just t1, or also t2 zones?
Also, would steel vengeance proc off the new conj magic bolt?

Modrod specialist is never happening. It's a hold over from an old beta. The increases are small by design since it is not a level increase expansion and they didn't want it to be UF 2.0. The mob difficulty didn't go up much. Basically, just an extension of last expansion.
TL;DR: this is just a CONTENT expansion--you'll see new zones mostly.

Re: beta nda has been lifted
so are the mobs about equal to t4 rof mobs? Or are they gonna be equal to t2 rof mobs?
Re: beta nda has been lifted
From the posted Test server update:
- Magician - Increased the proc bonus for Maloseniac Eminence.
- Magician - Increased the damage dealt by Eminent Strike but removed the reflected Prism Skin cast.
So, they removed Prism Skin from our new pet proc spell? Am I reading this right? If that is the case, I cannot think of a circumstance when I would prefer Maloseniac over the traditional buff that give some protection to our pets.
