Aria Nerf: Pets

I do realize this change was quite some time ago, but I wanted to see the impact it would have on our regular pets (The aura was never broken, and went unchanged).

BEFORE:

/GU Combat Dummy Fana in 601s, 3513k @5845dps --- Boss 3493k @5813dps. /tell Boss Boss -vs- Combat Dummy Fana: -- DMG: 3493446 -- DPS: 5813 -- Scaled: 5813 -- Slash: 2529757 -- Backstab: 507051 -- DirDmg: 456638 -- Non-crit rate: 70.8% -- crit rate: 29.2% -- Attempts: 2735 -- Hits: 2275 -- Missed: 225 -- Defended: 235 -- Accuracy: 91% -- Avg Hit: 1535 -- Max hit: 6301.

^Worked out to be 351 flurries in 601 seconds, so roughly 35.1 a minute.

^EM16 Water pet, Mask, Water Swords, Burnout3, Armor3, Distillect3, Hastening of Aransir3, Shared Cloak of Burrs3, Preeminent Foresight3, Imperative Focusing3, Spirit of Resolve3, Strength of the Gladetender3, Cry of the Predator3, Spiritual Enrichment3, Shared Brutal Ferocity3, Symphony of Battle, Aura of Orator3, Hykast's Song of Suffering3, Daevan's Aria3, Wasinai's Psalm of Potency3, Fatesong of Illdarea3, Arcane Address3, Quick Time Maxed, Epic, Second Spire. I had the bard sing a Caster DPS setup that you would normally see on raids, which is why I had her use Second Spire and not third.

AFTER:

/GU Combat Dummy Fana in 599s, 3447k @5755dps --- Boss (Piemastaj) 3427k @5722dps. /tell Piemastaj Boss -vs- Combat Dummy Fana: -- DMG: 3427294 -- DPS: 5722 -- Scaled: 5722 -- Slash: 2501913 -- DirDmg: 477146 -- Backstab: 448235 -- Non-crit rate: 73.2% -- crit rate: 26.8% -- Attempts: 2792 -- Hits: 2320 -- Missed: 256 -- Defended: 216 -- Accuracy: 90.1% -- Avg Hit: 1477 -- Max hit: 6301.

^Worked out to be 328 flurries in 599 seconds, so roughly 32.8 a minute.

I don't believe it effected pets. They have their own proc rate that didn't change.
They changed flurry chance only, because of Zerkers mainly. They changed the flurry rate from 27% to 21% to 5% lol.


Slot Description
1: Increase Spell Damage by 39%
2: Increase Haste v3 by 25%
3: Limit: Effect (Hitpoints allowed)
4: Limit: Max Level(95) (lose 5% per level over cap)
5: Limit: Spell Type (Detrimental only)
6: Limit: Target (AE PC v1 excluded)
7: Limit: Target (PB AE excluded)
8: Limit: Target (Targeted AE excluded)
9: Limit: Combat Skills Not Allowed
10: Increase Chance to Triple Attack by 35%
11: Flurry Chance (5%)
12: Pet Flurry Chance (28)

The reason why it was changed is well known. It was because of Berserkers dependency on 2 hand weapons.

With the Pet flurry chance thing, that did not even work on our own FBO line. In Beta it was not adding anymore Flurry chance to our pets. It is now with just a basic flurry mod on the disc. There was also a distinct drop-off in DPS and overall DMG in our pets when running 2 similar parses, and the second one might have had an extra crit mod on it aswell.
