Xalmat how the hell are ya! Log back in goober so we can fire up some mercs and kill, well anything!

Good weekend, dinged 83 - finished Bayle Aug and got ally in OGH - finished Blood of the Fallen and almost to ally in Kith. Finished all but Library in FoS progression, Picked up several T5 essences and augs/loot at 4 way in old CoD. I even surpassed 800 AA!

Sheesh, you'll probably catch me by the end of the year, and I didn't take a break from EQ. :P
The AAs will slow down a bit now though. They had a bonus built in for players to get the first 1000 AA done faster. Once you get to 1000, it will be normal AA rate.

Guess that means I should get 999 and then 30 banked before I spend that 1000th AA.

The bonus decays gradually though, not all at once, so there probably won't be a noticeable difference between your 998th, 999th, and 1000th AA. There will, however, be a noticeable between say, your 800th and 1000th AA.

Haha, hiya guys. Not gonna steal Jaytee's thunder (I've always looked up to him back in my younger days). In fact he inspired me to renew my EQ1 account after 5 years. My god have Mages gotten upgraded since my day  \

Still kicking it around in EQ2, making a name for myself as one of the experts on Conjurors, the EQ2 equivalent to Magicians. Pretty much never left EQ2 since the Beta back in Sept 2004.

Once a pet class, always a pet class, I always say.

Alas I simply don't have time to play EQ1 all that much, EQ2 takes up all my time.

But if you guys wanna catch up for old times sake, shoot a tell to Cazic.Xalmat or EQ2.Permafrost.Sess

Get your sorry butt transfered to luclin so I can box you with JT!

Had another productive evening last night - ~70% into 83 with 2 MM's to claim. Got two essences from FoS and made blue arms/feet. FINALLY a fire focus without buying the arms from the old man. I'm trying to save brews for some of the augs. I got the essences off Jazra the Feral and Darkcoil the Constrictor while the Demented guy dropped nothing. I have to say Jazral was an interesting fight - bastard had killed me three times before - he just has badass melee for a EM 2 pet to handle. My Tier 3 merc was having issues with healing him and my 85 cleric Duregarr's Tier 5 tank would wipe out real quick on him.

So I had a new strat last night - I dismissed Duregarr's tank merc and got my cleric a Tier 5 healer merc. Yep my cleric has a cleric merc. So now I box with 3 healers  and I pull Jazra the Feral last night and got him to about 7% and he wiped the pet to enrage which I wasn't expecting, then I get summoned/wacked and Duregarr his merc and my merc are standing there for that half second while the mob moves on from my death to his next hate list target - Duregarr's merc healer. Now that merc was able to heal/tank him long enough for me to res JT on Duregarr, get enough mana to summon a pet and re-engauge while the 2 merc healers still had 50% mana! I had both healer mercs on "reactive" and the T5 one still had no problem with mana.

Now that was a F'd up fight but fun as hell. 3 clerics for the win! Anyway the named in FoS that are melee based hurt but are doable with a full burn and now that I know to watch for enrage on Jazra I should be ok next time too!

Ding 85, ping 850, welcome to Void E, and my apologies to the gnomes but Meldrath has fallen before me!

It's been a fairly quick run up to 85 and have been fortunate to have some great folks from the past and present help me out. It has been a great little run so far and I am looking forward to enjoying the game again.

Oh and FYI don't be a goober like me and get all excited about upgrading your gear in Void E but forget to remove you augs. I lost Blood of the Fallen and Nak's aug that way =(

Fortunately my petition for restoration was successful!
