Two mage and a shaman can go anywhere they want. I would suggest the highest zones for whatever expansion it is you currently are working.

If you are NOT the best multiboxer, and, you are already playing 3 different toons, adding another class is going to take a lot of "multibox talent". If you really want more from your group than just mercs, I might suggest another mage. Mage groups always were and still are the best groups.

If you are trying to use multi-key binding, remote servant is about useless. If you cannot use multi binding for chain casting, and you are a distance away from the target mob, you can get a couple extra seconds of servant DPS using remote. Tasks in Shard's were very good exp, in addition to the kills needed. Prior to that, a mage can't do much better than zeka/beza. Lots of vendor loot in zeka/beza.

EM 20 and 15 are available in this expansion. I don't know the pet level.
