can't seem to break 5k ish dps. can anyone see any aa's i need or such. and do the aa's that make me look like our pets help at all?

are there char flags or such that i need to get to use power souces? I am 89 but am unable to use them. I have gotten a player made one but when i go to click on the shell thing it don't change into the orb for me to use.
